open-form sync:skills
Update the agent skills in your workspace from the installed open-form.
pnpm sync:skills
# or
pnpm exec open-form sync:skillsCopies the built-in skills from your installed @open-form-build/core into
.agents/skills/, and links each one into .claude/skills/ so Claude Code
finds them too. Each skill is listed with its status:
· apply-comments unchanged
~ create-form updated
· create-theme unchanged
+ current-form added
· form-authoring unchangedopen-form dev does the same every time it starts, so you only need this to
update the skills without starting the dev server — typically right after
pnpm up open-form.
Run it in your workspace (a folder with open-form.config.ts, or a
package.json that depends on @open-form-build/core). Elsewhere — your home folder, say,
where .claude/skills/ would apply to every project — it stops with an error.

What it touches
.agents/
└── skills/
└── <name>/ # copied from open-form
.claude/
└── skills/
└── <name> # symlink to ../../.agents/skills/<name>- Skills are compared by content hash; unchanged ones aren't rewritten.
- A skill whose contents differ is replaced, so local edits to a built-in skill
are lost. Put project-specific rules in
AGENTS.mdinstead. - Skills under other names are left alone.
- A
.claude/skills/<name>for a built-in skill that isn't a symlink — a folder you put there, say — is deleted and replaced by the symlink. - On Windows,
.claude/skills/<name>is a copy instead of a symlink, replaced on every sync.
Set OPEN_FORM_SKIP_SKILLS_SYNC=1 to stop open-form dev from syncing. See
Skills.
